Professional Development
One of Tannson’s Surveyors is working towards corporate membership of the royal Incorporation of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). A Structured Training Agreement has been approved by the RICS and will involve gathering evidence of several pre-determined competencies and recording a minimum of 200 days experience. Once this has been completed, a final assessment will be undertaken with RICS before membership is approved.
Tannson’s Health and Safety Manager is currently undertaking a 1 year BA Degree in Occupational Health & Safety Management at Glasgow Caledonian University. This bolts onto his existing Diploma in Health & Safety to give a Degree in Occupational Health & Safety Management.
One member of site personnel will be attending a course on Introductory Certificate in Project Management in Edinburgh in March.  This is a two day course ending in an exam.
